Board Member Spotlight: Nicole Johnson & our Strategic Operations Consultant

Nicole Johnson, MBA, has served on the Kenccid Board of Directors since 2026. She is a healthcare operations executive, strategic consultant, and doctoral researcher with more than 20 years of experience spanning healthcare, public health, human capital management, organizational strategy, and social impact. She brings expertise in financial management, strategic planning, healthcare operations, organizational leadership, regulatory compliance, and organizational growth, complemented by extensive experience in quality improvement, program development, and data-informed decision-making. Throughout her career, Nicole has maintained a longstanding commitment to improving opportunities and strengthening systems for individuals whose needs are too often overlooked.
Nicole joined the Board of Directors of KenCCID in 2026 because its commitment to dignity, choice, independence, and community for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities closely connects with both her professional work and research interests. As a board member, she contributes her experience in organizational strategy, healthcare operations, governance, program evaluation, and community engagement to support KenCCID’s continued growth and mission.
Nicole is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration at Temple University’s Fox School of Business. She is also an active researcher and conference presenter and serves as a peer reviewer for two academic journals, including Springer Nature’s Mindfulness. Outside of her professional and academic work, she has co-founded an educational program serving neurodivergent children and participates in community, educational, and philanthropic initiatives.
