Board Chair Spotlight: Lisa Hanssen’s Commitment to the KenCCID Mission

Lisa Hanssen has been a member of KenCCID's Board of Directors since 2013 and has served as Chair since 2015.

Lisa's commitment to KenCCID is personal. Her family's experience has shown her how few real alternatives to institutional care exist across the tri-state area for individuals who need significant daily support. What sets KenCCID apart is how it provides that support. The individuals KenCCID serves live in ordinary homes in ordinary neighborhoods. Each home is staffed around the clock by well-trained and caring professionals who support them in building lives of their own choosing.

Lisa is a partner at the Bucks County, PA law firm of Fenningham, Dempster & Coval LLP, where she provides legal counsel to a diverse mix of for-profit and non-profit clients. Her practice spans nonprofit and corporate governance, government contracting, risk management and insurance, real estate, data privacy, and employment law. Before entering private practice, she served as General Counsel of Cardone Industries and in senior legal roles at Berlitz Corporation, Flowers Foods, Tasty Baking Company, PMA Capital Corporation, and CIGNA Corporation, where she began her legal career in 1997.
